I cant seem to learn how to change the led display on my juke. I have seen you can make it scroll with whatever you want it to say. I cant figure it out in "attract" mode. Is there an easy way to explain how to change it??? It would be neat to say "welcome to Derek's house" or something.

The original firmware chip in the Central Control Computer ("CCC" ) may be too old of a version to have the "Message Center" function in the "Attract" mode service menu. I think your CCC chip should be at least version 3.2 to have that function in the firmware. Should be step 7 (Message Center) in Attract (2) menu.
If you saw this on other people's 100A jukes, they probably had updated firmware chips installed in their CCC boards. Do you know what version your chip is using?

I know nothing about any of this. How can I find out what version I have?????
-
When it is not in "free play" it scrolls "rowe" and such. Does that help determine what version I may have??

Ok, I found out how to get to "status">version> ccc prog version 21. What does that mean?????

You can also look in the "window" of the Central Control Computer and read the version number on the label of the chip to confirm you have version 2.1.
If you indeed have version 2.1, then you have positively got ancient firmware which does NOT have the Message Center function. You would need to buy a replacement chip with newer firmware on it and swap the chip out.
Or you could ship your Central Control Computer to Bruce Wentworth and he will make & install the new chip as well as give your CCC board the hardware updates it needs:
