Hi guys, here comes a new challenger ! :applaud:
I have read a lot of stuff lately for my mamecab project and I would like to know if I there is any mistake (before buying).
- Cabinet : New Net City (with Toshiba tr-sync monitor) + Extend Menu
- JVSPAC (to connect a MAME PC)
- PC (that will play MAME, SF4 PC, Type X)
Before talking about PC, anything else that is missing ? If no, next step :).
* PC SPECS
- cpu : core i7 or core i5 (which one ?)
- gpu : Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 VAPOR-X
- ssd : Intel SSD 520 Series 240Gb (not sure about capacity, how big is full MAME ?)
- ram : 8 Gb (enough right ?)
* PC SOFTWARE
Windows XP x64 + CRT_EmuDriver + GroovyMAME + Gameex (frontend)
Also, is current MAME (vs DEMUL) good enough to play Atomiswave/Naomi games ?
Am I missing something ? Anything that can be improved ?
Thank you for my old cabinet dream ...
Note : I will start arcade with this MAMECAB, but with time I will buy the original PCB of games that I like most :notworthy:

Hi akumajo,
I'm not a hardware expert, but your setup looks perfect to me.
Also, is current MAME (vs DEMUL) good enough to play Atomiswave/Naomi games ?
I can't help you here, let's see if some other comes up with some info.
