Title: Do they make this? Gamebox alternative?? for PS1

Hey guys
I have been reading online and found two units, Gamebox P1400 and JXD M1000. They are chinese units that claim to play emulators and especially Playstation 1 games. Neither tend to work well.  Is there an alternative that works and runs games ? I really would like it to run ISOs off a USB...

I've been reading about ps2psxe to run PSX games os the PS2 off of USB or maybe the internal drive.  I'm looking at it for one less console in my cabs, component video, and hopefully region free play.  I have no idea if it works well but it might be worth looking into.  I've found two PS2s for less than $15 at goodwill on half off day.

The PS3 can natively play PS1 games off the original discs.  You can even play them with HDMI output.

All models of the PS3 can do this, including the original PS3 Slim.

To play PS1 backups you'll need 3.55 custom firmware.  Even then, you can only play PS1 backups off disc, UNLESS you ALSO have the Cobra USB dongle, which allows you to play them off HDD (either external USB HDD, or internal HDD).
