I have a compiled version of mame64.exe.
Yesterday Asteroids and Star Wars and Scramble appeared to save hi score ,
However when I turned the cab on today the hiscores had reset.
In the HI folder there are entries for each of the games dated yesterday so it would appear that something has been written to the folder but the game is not retrieving the file?
CORE MKChamp OPTIONS are all present in mame.ini
Im using MALA as a frontend
Sorted this out: the HI folder and the NVRAM folder had somehow developed read only properties, unclicked read only and now all is well
appreciate any advice
