Title: Makvision m3129 tri-mode squashed/blurred image from sides?

Just installed  brand new m3129 (groovyarcade). It seems that the image is "squashed" horizontally at the sides. So, the pixels are kind of "packed" into a too narrow area on both edges. Also it seems that the image get very blurred anywhere near the left or right edge. Is there some known reason for this? My frontend is running in 640 x 480.
