Title: Cpu requirement for neogeo, neogo cd and neogeo pocket emulation
Post by: Acids on December 11, 2012, 03:34:32 am
Hey all, I realise this may be tough to answer but i was wondering if anyone knows the minimum cpu to run the neogeo systems.?

I'm thinking of making a neogeo mini cab and if i can get a free pc from work why not right?

Sorry to ask such an open ended question ?!  :dizzy:
I goggled this an i get a million broken results.

I remember having NeoRageX running Garou: Mark of the Wolves on a Pentium 233mhz(??) way back in the day, like 2000-2001. Had to upgrade my RAM to do it (to 128MB, I think? Maybe less?) but it worked.

I imagine just about anything you get your hands on should work, even in mame. You could likely get an entire PC for free from Craigslist that could do it.
