Title: easy 3d modeler

I want to draw some 3D models of my cab to use as part pictures for my frontend.
Any easy freware cad/renderer that you guys can recommend?

I haven't used it but I heard good things about Milkshape 3D (http://www.milkshape3d.com/).

Wings 3D (http://www.wings3d.com) is very easy to use, newbie friendly, and fast to model in.

Although you might find Wings limited for CAD type work.  However, there is at least one person who builds boats from designs made in Wings.

Another free alternative is called Blender.  Supposedly very good considering its free.
