Hey guys,
I have read a few posts regarding this topic but I hoping to stir up conversation again to help out myself and others who are still confused. :banghead:
I have the vista OS, I would like (when everything is set up) when I turn on my computer it goes directly to Hyperspin and bypasses everything else.
Any Ideas?

This thread beat you by 20 minutes.

Also, you should probably get rid of Vista and XP, or maybe 7.

Yea definitely upgrade to windows 7. Then check this thread out and follow the instructions in the second post. That's what I have done and it works great.

One other word of advice is to set hyperspin's exit program to be explorer.exe in hyperhq. That way once you exit hyperspin it'll automatically go to your desktop so you can use the computer normally to make any changes.

It depends on your video setup. Soft15kHz requires XP.
Also, I didn't see anything about disabling the Aero Theme in 7 in that thread. It wastes a lot of resources and supposedly causes lag. It might not start up if you shell directly to your frontend, but just something to watch out for.
EDIT: Yeah, the way he recommends changing the registry is a great way to shell your cab (can be done in XP too). If you do this, explorer doesn't even start, so I don't think there will be any Aero Theme. If you don't do that step, just watch out for it.

Soft15khz will also run on Windows 7. Make sure to"run as administrator".
