I don't know, doesn't it get all screwed up if you get a magnet close to it?

It's only 720K if you get the DSDD model, but you can drill a hole in the upper left to convert it to the 1.44MB DSHD model.

You guys are confused, I don't think that's 3.5 inches, unless that's one of the borrowers.

Now I don't feel so bad that I missed it as bad as rCadeGaming missed the DOS era magnetic media humor.   >:D

Maybe I missed what you were saying in this post -- and I may well have -- since sometimes I can't brain, cuz I haz teh dumb.   :dunno

Posted after this

The floppy below left is a standard 1.44MB, the one on the right is a 720KB drilled out which allows reformatting as a 1.44MB.

I think rCadeGaming was making a comment about the size of the floppy relative to the arm thats opening the drawer.

Too many jokes flying over everyone's heads.   ;D

We may have the same condition

Surprised Brain Syndrome (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktwb-boe7t8#)

Those both look, like 3.5" disks though; was just saying the table looks a lot bigger.  It probably has a laser disc in it.

What it really needs is a lined yellowing label that reads Commander Keen

D'oh! Googled The Borrowers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118755/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1), and with that, teh dumb melts away into clarity.   :lol   (proper noun, not generic adjective)

Don't remember ever seeing the movie or even previews.

You mean like this drilled and reformatted DS,DD ==> DS, HD?   ;D

I haven't seen it either.  It was a book though, and Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli; Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, etc.) just made a new film based on it.

I would make it an AOL floppy.  We all had a drawer full of those.

Is this too meta?

Not too meta but we HAD a drawer full.  It would be hard to locate that many of them now.
