Hi, I am going to try and put together a mame system so i picked up the game cabinet in the picture below. I am going to purchase a LCD computer monitor to use in it. So my question is, what specs do I need to look for in a LCD monitor? I will be using the mame system for 80's & 90's games Pacman,Galaga, street fighter, mortal kombat & pinball games etc..
Any suggestions on size of monitor or anything else?
I am buying this cabinet for $200 Canadian, worth it?

$200 is worth it if you feel it is. As a comparison I sold a complete and working Rampage machine (other than monitor) for $150. I also sold an empty Neo-Geo mvs-4 cab for $75...But to built a cab costs about $200 + graphics...

I use a Samsung 214T monitor in my cabinet. It is a 21.3" 4:3 IPS monitor which gives me 1600x1200 resolution and a down right amazing viewing angle.
I picked up 3 of them off Ebay for $90 shipped (each). I did have to replace all the capacitors in them due to their age, but other than that they were a GREAT purchase.
