Title: Joystick lag in MAME :(

IVe noticed it before but its really starting to bother me now.  There are a few frames lag from when i move the stick to when it responses.  Is there a way of fixing this?  This is just in MAME.  Im running version 0.143u5

whats your monitor settings?  might be part of the issue.

do you also have the same problem when you use your regular pc keyboard, or is the problem only with your joystick?

some more info would be helpful, eg. what joystick is it, how is it connected to your pc, is it usb etc

ps. just as a test try turning off all the sync options in your video settings (eg. triple buffer, vsync...) and see if the problem goes away

Could also be the monitor or post-processing on a TV.
It could also vary by game or driver.

Turned em all off and voila!  Thx  :cheers:
