Like the subject says, I've got a few japanese SANWA "JLF" 8-Way-Joysticks for sale. They are new in box and come with red ball tops. I'm asking US$12 per piece plus shipping. As for my references, you can find me on eBay under the name "Mithotyn". Please email me at greywolf@chello.at for more info. Thanks!

Is it possible to mount these on a wood control panel? Also, what does JLF mean? Most likely, I'll be willing to purchase 2 of them.

IceCold: I guess they won't fit in a wood control panel as they have rather short shafts - those sticks are really ment for metal control panels as used on japanese sit-at cabinets. As for what JLF stands for, honestly, I don't know ...
-
does it have the mounting plate?
-
armad1ll0: Yes, it does come with a mounting plate made out of metal.
-
please email me with quantity.
I can talk to you about how many I can handle.

If it has a mounting plate, I could use it with a wood panel then, correct? Or at least that's what I thought mounting plates were for.
I'd be willing to buy 2 of them if the offer is still open.

IceCold: Check out the following tutorial (courtesy of fellow forum member armad1ll0) if you want to know how to install japanese sticks in a wooden panel: http://www.geocities.com/armad1ll0/systems/Tutorial.htm
