Title: Daytona USA "classic" - Physics gone haywire
Post by: SailorSat on November 29, 2012, 04:08:03 pm
Hi folks,

I suppose to have one of those dreaded CPU board defects.
The physics on my Daytona started to fail.

I've uploaded a (rather bad quality) video of the problem at
http://images.arianchen.de/for-amusement-only/daytona/im000104.mpg (http://images.arianchen.de/for-amusement-only/daytona/im000104.mpg)

I don't know if this is just a defective chip (may be some address decoder) or just a bad solder connection.
I've search the net but can't find a problem like mine.

Anyone ever seen something like that?

Graphics are fine, but Physics are totally borked.
If I turn my Wheel (while standing still) I can see my tires explode at about 45°.
Also all cars hit invisible walls everywhere.

*EDIT*
TGP Test shows all 4 TGPs as OK
Memory Test also shows everthing as OK.
