I'm trying to update my Aimtrak's firmware from 1.4 to 1.6 and it's been a real nightmare. I am running XP SP3.
When I set the gun's device ID I'm then directed to install the U-HID driver. I then navigate to the Aimtrak driver folder and install one of the two drivers listed (I've tried both). Next, I try and upload the firmware to the guns by running the UUpload.exe. It then show's that a U-HID firmware upgrade is detected and there is a button to navigate to the firmware ufw file. This is where I run into the problem. There is no ufw file in the installed folder. In fact I have used the windows search feature and there isn't a single file with that extension on my entire PC.
I've done some searching and I can't seem to find anyone with this specific problem. Is there a place I can download the need firmware file? I have tried re-installing the Aimtrak configuration utility program several times and it doesn't seem to be included.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Never mind all. I figured it out. Seems all I needed to do was use the standard window drivers. All is well. I still can't figure out why there is no ufw file anymore, but it seems the guns are now 1.6 and working fine.
