Title: Arcade cab newbie MDF painting ?
Post by: Blueic5 on November 24, 2012, 11:14:04 am
Hi ,

Thought id give building a cabinet ago but wanted some advice thoughts on the paint/primer ive chosen.  Im going to use 18mm MDF and planned on using Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 primer or BIN followed by Rustoleum Combicolor Satin Jet Black using a foam roller.  Is this a good choice of primer/paint or if not any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

Seems Rust-oleum isnt the cheapest in the UK for 2.5l which is a gamble as ive no idea if it will work well. Not sure how much paint needed for a full height cabinet about 26" wide say 2 coats.  So any thoughts / suggestions be appriciated.  What paints did you all use?
