Um, the reason gold members are only allowed to see the DS launching scripts (and PS2, Gamecube, Wii launching scripts too) is because these are considered as systems still  making money in retailers today hence they are in a protected forum for paying members.

If your not willing to part with any money at all no matter how much, Hyperspin is not your frontend, no offense.

So you do have to pay money to get answers.  Thanks for clearing that up.

I don't understand what a protected forum does.  Keeps Nintendo and Sony from seeing the answers?  Cash cow to help pay for server space?  Seriously, what's the deal?

No offense taken.  I'm using another FE that I paid for so money isn't an issue.  Charging for help isn't kosher in my opinion.

You pay money to get access to the ftp server, which I assume costs money for all the bandwidth.  I doubt anyone pays just so they get access to the gold member forums.

I can see that.  That's different than what was explained though.   :dunno
