Title: Shadow flicker in NeoGeo games with crt?

I know that the system does the flicker on purpose but I've heard that it should be barely visible on an arcade monitor. It's just not like that on my CRT. Normal or not?

Some games slow down which makes the flicker noticeable.
(for example I notice it quite a lot in SamSho2)
