i need to build a cabinet, but i prefer to let a carpenter to make the work, i'm a programmer and i would cut an hand if i'll use a saw.....
anyone know where to find some project with measures that i could give to a carpenter? i need something like a vertical arcade cabinet that can hold a D9400 Monitor (27'')
anyone can help?

jakobud.com is the standard place to start. Some of the files aren't 100%, however an average person can easily adjust where necessary. If you're using a professional carpenter/cabinet maker/etc, then it should be a piece of cake.

Another approach is to download that Sketchup program and draw your own, even if you copy the design from another source.
-
what sketchup program ???

I’m pretty sure he is referring to Google Sketchup: http://sketchup.google.com/download/ (http://sketchup.google.com/download/)
There are tons of arcade models built that can be downloaded and modified.

Arcade cabinets by Gozer (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/cldetails?mid=4ac3dc12784cb20bd06e6be4f8954ac&prevstart=0) sketchup warehouse is a great resource.

Link to my Metropolis Cab project which includes plans. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,118612.0.html (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,118612.0.html) Suited more to a 23" LCD but could be modified to suit the larger monitor.

You could also buy a pre-fabricated cabinet that comes as a kit. Most seem to be as easy to assemble as most IKEA-style furniture.

i thought about assembled kit but i didn't find anything that i liked very much.......
