Hi,
I'm extremely new to this arcade business and decided to hop into it by building my own machine. I built the cabinet and I have my board, power supply, wiring harness and monitor. My problems come up with trying to get a picture on the screen. I wired everything up but for the life of me I cannot get power to the board or any indication from it that I'm doing anything right. I've been scouring around for a guide or anything that can help me out online for a while now but nothing has pointed me in the right direction.
This is my power supply

I plugged the 4 pin connector from the power supply into the board and plugged that into the wall but when I flicked the switch nothing happend. I have everything else wired up and the monitor is hooked up to the vga and it has power. The only thing I seem to be missing is the power to the board top give me that sweet gameplay. I bet im only missing something small like some odd switch on either the board but I would love to get this thing working so any help would be appreciated!
Thank you

Your power supply will not turn on without a jumper between pins 14 and 13 or 14 and 15 on a 20 pin connector. A bent paperclip inserted into the main power connector for those pins will turn on the supply. Green pin 14 to any ground.
Link to info on 20 and 24 pin connector. http://4volt.com/Blog/archive/2009/03/12/howto-hotwire-a-pc-power-supply.aspx (http://4volt.com/Blog/archive/2009/03/12/howto-hotwire-a-pc-power-supply.aspx)

Glad you got it working. How about a pic of your cab when completed? ;D
