I haven't compiled analog+ mame before... and just tried... I got a TON of errors patching the files over 76u1.
Has anyone compiled it yet (ie, am I doing something wrong or is it that the diff files will only work with older versions of mame)
Thanks

When I've compiled Mame Analog+, I didn't use the diff. I used the source files and copied them over my Mame directory. It worked no prob. That was at version 73/74. Not too helpful, but thought I mention that as an option.
OOOOH OOOOOOH Waaaaaait just a minute! The latest version of Mame Analog+ is 74.2, isn't it? You have to use the Mame Analog+ patch on the corresponding version of Mame (74.2).

The last version was for 0.74u2. Mame has made some major changes in the functions saving it's cfg cfg files, which I used to also save the mouse remappings in ana cfg files. I'm debating of releasing the next analog+ with the saving of the mouse remapping broken soon, or continue trying to fix before I release it.
Opinions?

I'm waiting to upgrade my cocktail to XP from 98se now that the dual usb mouse thing is in there for XP.

Okay, 0.76 is out, with the mouse settings not saved. :-\
Compiles though. :)
BTW, one source for both XP and 98 code. Defaults to compile 98 code. Set WINXPANANLOG=1 to compile for XP.

Fantastic!
Now I've got a project for this weekend. ;)
