ive searched through about 20 pages of the monitor forum every website i can find, and still cant find the answer.
what all comes with a cap kit for a Matsushita tm202g monitor?
and will cap kit fix the promblem i am having?
the problem is screen starts "waving" like a flag, seems like right half of screen gets pushed up a bit. the adjustment for it just stops short of correcting it.

A cap kit is a bunch of electrolytic capacitors with the same size and voltage rating as those on your main chassis board--its a little different for every monitor--you could make one yourself if you were so inclined--As far as fixing your problem--it might not help but it certainly won't hurt (how's that for an answer :P) in all seriousness though depending on the age of the monitor its usually a good place to start and when you are done you're image quality IS improved.

The capkit usually has the caps that are known to give the most trouble. For most monitors it contains between 13 to 19 electrolytic capacitors (depending on model & make). These replacements generally will be the same value (capacity) and the same (or higher) voltage rating. Flagging can be a sign of the horizontal hold circuit having a problem (bad capacitors!). A cap kit would be the first choice to have done to your monitor and they cost around $10 for the kit.
Do the kit and you'll be surprised at the difference in the picture!
