Title: act labs usb gun and vga switch box???

Greets All,
   Just got my USB light gun in the mail and tried to hook it up to my cab.  But I think my setup is causing a problem.  Is there a way to connect the light gun's black box into a vga switch box (monitor is shared between dreamcast and computer) or do i forsake my dreamcast in the name of MAME?

Are you saying
computer -> lightgun black box -> vga cable -> VGA switch box -> vga cable -> monitor
does not work?  (Stuff in italics are the newly added items)

I think you could add the lightgun box between the monitor and the vga switch box, but then you'd need the computer on to play the DC (so the USB suplies power to the lightgun box).  [shrug]
