btw, can you change the background and options based on what your settings are or what games you have in the filter?

IE, is it worth me creating a brothel background with nude all around for when the 'adult' games are selected?

Then maybe a Maze looking thing with pacman and other running around in the maze categories.

Maybe even a flying through clouds for flight games

..

ok, I will problaby only work on a brothel scene with nudes for all :)

:D  It is a distorted version of me (http://www.i-modernist.com/emulaxian/peter.html ) but indeed the figure in the arcade looks more like shaggy then me! ;D

Hehe!

With 0.6 you can only use one at runtime...it is loaded from the arcades subdir...but yes the next version (the hooks are allready in the source I just disabled it for this release) will be able to associate backgrounds with gamelist files... :D

Easy...export your videos to a sequence of pics (I tried animations with more then 100 pics without performance loss because they are loaded into ram and not videoram) in a new directory...make an animation with feuitlities.exe...put the animation in the arcades folder...adjust the filename in fe.cfg and adjust the tiling parameters...run the fe and enjoy... :-*

Peter, you amaze me more and more with every release of that thing.  :)

All I can say is "Wow! That's Cool!!"

Now, can seperate "skins" be made for the cabinet objects?  Like, could I make a Galaga or Pac-Man skin and tell it to use those with the galaxian cabinet design (because they're the same or pretty darn close anyways)?

What's the spacing like for the models?  Could I make a model of a sit-down cab in sideways position (which is wider than the width of a standard cab) and have it "fit" in line with the other cabinets?  Does it space the cabinets in a fixed interval or relative to each other?

Any polygon limits or is it based purely on machine performance?
