I will be making a CP with IPac (2 joysticks and buttons), OptiPac (trackball) and Spinner. I also want to have a keyboard and mouse (not 100% essential but if workable that's my preference). With 2 PS2 ports (looking at connecting the IPac and OptiPac to these) and USB ports (Spinner directly into this), will a wireless keyboard and mouse be able to work with this setup? I am not familiar with the wireless keyboard and mouse - do they need a transmitter/remote type device plugged in to the computer (such as in the PS2 or USB ports) or do they work freely without any plug-ins (such as an installation CD or other)? How responsive are the wireless setups, such as for simple web browsing and basic word documents?

There are two types of wireless, IR and Radio. Radio is better as it doesn't need line of site.
It depends on the combo. Some use ps/2 some use usb. New ones will use USB. If not you can always hook up tot he passthrough port on the ipac.
What spinner?

I'm in Australia so the cheapest option for me is to purchase from OzStick (AUD $44):
www.ozstick.com.au (http://www.ozstick.com.au)
As I'm not a huge player of spinner games (although I do like to play the Arkenoids, Breakouts, etc.) I am not looking at the best on the market, but I do want one: a cheap workable option. The OzStick spinner connects directly into either PS2 or USB.
Is it actually possible to connect the keyboard or mouse to run off the Ipac / OptiPac or something like this? This is how I interpreted the end of your reply.
