Title: Utility to change settings for all game types?

Is there any utility to change the MAME settings for all games of a type?  Like:  

Rotate clockwise for all vertically oriented games

Increase gamma and set high res for all vector games

Set 50% scanlines on all horizontal games... etc..

??
