I've got an original Defender bezel (the large black insert that goes under the glass and against the monitor -- not the glass or graphics). Surely someone wants/needs it for a restoration.....
Once again, let me offer it up to anyone that will give it a proper home -- you just pay the postage (less than $10).

What size monitor did Defender have and/or what are the inside/outside dimensions of the bezel? Thanks!
-
Almost all pre-90 games had 19" monitors. Defender included.
So that bezel should fit any 19" monitor. It will not fit a television that is in a case, or any kind of computer monitor (cased or uncased).
They are nearly weightless, so shipping should not be that high.

pic?

I'll take it if it is not gone already. I can't believe nobody wants this.

Daryl,
A couple of people have contacted me, but nobody has gotten back to me as to whether they're willing to pay the ~$10 shipping (in US) and given me an address.
In the order they responded: tcoleman has first shot, then nannuu. If neither one gets back to me shortly, then you're welcome to it. I just don't want to take a loss (postage) giving it away!

Looks like I won't need it. Thanks though!

Howe were you planning on shipping it? I would imagine finding a box for somethink that size would be difficult. Could it be shipped in a pizza box? I suppose it'd have to be a pretty dang large pizza.

I figure I'll just put it back into the homemake box that the eBayer shipped it to me in. It's a cut-down box that is about as thick as a pizza box, but longer. It's an ugly packing job, but it works.

I finally got someone to take this off my hands, so it's gone.

damn. too late. needed that... lol
