I'm interested in getting guns for my MAME arcade machine in order to play shooters. My setup is as follows:
- Windows XP
- running a pretty new machine (2400+ AMD CPU)
- ArcadeVGA video card
- JPAC connector
- Real arcade 25" monitor - WG7000 series
Now, should I buy the PC one, and connect it between the ArcadeVGA and JPAC, or should I buy the TV one and somehow interface it to the S-Video out on the ArcadeVGA?? Since this is a real 15Khz arcade monitor, the highest resolution would be 640x480 interlaced.
Also, how well will 2 guns play on this setup? how will one wire something like this up?

you are using an arcade monitor, so you will need the TV guns (the PC guns only run on a CRT VGA monitor)
these guns support two players (by effectively sharing a four-button mouse between the two players) BUT since this causes problems when you shoot at the same time, and MAME Analog+ supports multiple mice, you should set them both to "Player 1" and use the new version of Analog+ for MAME.

Not true. The PC light guns work great on my ArcadeVGA/WG 25k7191 (standard res arcade monitor).
They didn't always work. A week ago, I read Andy Warne's post here:
http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=10990;start=msg96068#msg96068
that explained why my lightguns didn't work. I repaired the wiring on my VGA cable->Arcade Monitor hack, and it worked great.
I don't know if the TV lightguns can work, I didn't think they will if you're using a VGA cable hack.

You got it. For arcade monitors you use the pc guns, not the tv guns. The tv guns will not work as they use a svid dongle and will only operate at 60hz.
