Title: Crazy Marquee idea......

Has anyone checked to see if  thye could find a LCD the size of a standard Marquee???? (or have one made)
THAT would be cool!
Small proggy to change pics on the lcd and bamm!
Crazy idea?

MAN.. sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry I meant Marquee!!!! And i did a search.. (just not the correct way)

are you talking about the monitor bezel? Or do you mean Marquee? LCD Marquees have been discussed here in the past...do a search!  ;)

if you ARE talking about an LCD bezel, why not use a bigger monitor and the artwork files MAME uses?  There is NO WAY anyone is gonna make an LCD monitor with a big hole in the middle ...

Well, LCDs are actually clear until the pixels are activated, so I assume what he meant was a big LCD to surround the monitor and only activate the pixels in the bezel area.  Similar to one of those old overhead projector LCDs.  I don't think you will find one large enough that wouldn't be rather expensive, just sounds like more trouble than its worth.
