A few months ago, someone posted that coinopexpress.com had $150 cabinets. The catch was you had to buy 90 of them.
The thread went on for awhile, and discussed shipping options, buttons, etc.
They have a cabinet listed now: for $280

Since it is Jamma, I can buy it, tear out the monitor, sell the harness, use the joysticks and buttons, and build a normal-looking cabinet?
-Anyone want to buy one in the Ohio/PA area and split shipping?

Bueller? Bueller?
Can this monitor be "MAME-itized?"
-
anyone get any more info about these. also they have a 25" version for just $15 more ($295). of course it weights 10kg more.
-
I can tell you, having recently purchased and shipped an order that weighed about 90kg from these guys. Shipping will kill you on just one item. MY order was for several thousand items which allows me to spread the shipping cost out, but on one item of this size you are looking at over $800 in shipping cost alone.

ouch! thanks for the info.

Yeah they have some what seem like great deals untill you look into the shipping. Its a bummer really.

Exactly. I just got a quote on a bunch of stuff. By time I got done, it was 50% for the merchandise and 50% for the shipping. That essentially ends up doubling the price. :P
Something as big as a cabinet with a monitor in it would be cheaper if you bought 30 of them and had them shipped in a sea container. That will take some serious cash and storage space though.

You are really just better off hooking up with a distributor who already makes large orders from them, and getting one in their next shipment.
