Need some help all,
I am using AdvanceMAME and have configured my global control settings from within the in-game MAME menu. Most games work great except for a few games such as Robotron and the Mortal Kombat series I am not having any luck. Even when I go into configure controls "for this game" and set everything up to work with the QUAD there are still button 'conflicts' and the game doesnt react like I would expect in regards to button presses. Is this a known issue with the MK games or am I missing something.
Even though this is only affecting a few games, they are some of my favorite titles such as the Mortal Kombat games.
Any help is appreciated!

Brad,
That is no problem, since the Quad unit uses so many different keys out of the standard 101 keyboard layout there are a few that conflict with the default game codes that are already programmed with the Mame setup. Let

Also, depending on your Mame version, Mortal Kombat may have several of the buttons listed TWICE, and you will have to remap BOTH listings for it to have any effect.
I am not sure if the most current Mame version is like that, but the version installed on my machine certainly is.
