Any ideas where I can get a decent looking SkeeBall machine?
I am located in South Florida.
You can email me at emailAddrRemoved or reply here.
Regards.

SuperAuctions (http://www.superauctions.com/dates.html) had a few when I was there last...
They'll be in Orlando December 6th...

Do you know how much they go for and the condition there are in?
Also, does anyone know what type of maintenance is required to keep the skeell ball machine working. Seems like the only thing to it is to make sure the switches inside the scoreing circles work and the scoreboard. Other than that, the maintenance seems to be only manual (cleaning, painting, etc...)

I'm sorry... I didn't catch the bidding on them... I'll be going to the SuperAuction this Saturday though & if I see any I'll try to catch the winning price(s) for ya.
Condition wise, the ones I saw last time were pretty much in the same condition as the 10 year old ones I see in the local arcades... Worn & needing paint, but otherwise decent.

Not mine, but might give you an idea of what they go for.

Be careful of that seller. There are lots of negative and postitive feedbacks on rec.games....
I've never purchased anything from him.

From what I have heard the only real maintenance issue on skee ball machines is the coil or solenoid, or whatever it is that drops the balls down when you put in the money.
From what I read, they need to be replaced about annually on a busy machine that is "on location". So figure on replacing it maybe once a decade at home.

There were two fairly used but working ones at a local arcade for $275 each. Ebay prices are typically a lot higher than real world of course.
