Title: Convert Non-Jamma BeastBusters to Jamma
Post by: beastbuster on October 30, 2012, 03:38:52 pm
Good day,

I would like to convert my working 1990 BeastBuster SNK non-jamma arcade cabinet into a jamma cabinet to play more shooter games. All the forums I read talk about your standard controls. This cabinet has 3 mounted machine guns. Each oozie has a button by the nozzel for granades and there is a start button. That's it. Any ideas? Thanks you.

Uzi, bro.  :laugh2:

I think you might have some difficulty there. Someone else posted a similar request, but I think they are limited. Good luck with it.

Analog controls are not part of the JAMMA standard (and the controls for BB don't go through the edge connector anyway), so, even if you were to convert to JAMMA, you are still left with the need to interface the guns.

IMPO, not even worth thinking about doing.
