Title: Horiz Centre Problem (all of a sudden ?)

Hi folks, hope someone can help...

I brought a jamma cab 12 months or so and it was working fine, due to family commitments i delayed my mame conversion, anyway long story short control panel and conversion now complete but am getting no joy from monitor...?

The problem is its centre position is exactly 1/2 screen out, I can play with the horiz centre pot position which i guess gives me about 1 inch movement in either direction but no way near enough to bring back to centre?
Whats confusing me is that this setup worked 100% 12 months ago and machine has sat since then (only change being the addition of my control panel buttons)

My setup =
monitor - Sharp 510YWB22 arcade monitor
Arcade VGA card from ultimarc
Jpac from ultimarc
windows xp

Any ideas? I've played around with the ultimarc trisync options but nothing effects this problem?

Any advice appreciated..

Note i forgot to mention folks i have res set to 640 x 480 but again same as before the 12 month sleep, where it was working fine...

ok well fixed it, the symptom was a split screen, this was fixed when I changed my res to 320 x 240.

Still baffled really as I previously had 640x480 working ok on this monitor without the split screen?

Trouble now is my front end HS really looks well not great and although not tried it yet I guess all my other emulators will also look worse (zsnes for example)..  however i will soldier on...
