Title: Keyboard or controller no longer registering by Maximus Arcade

Hello to all,
just finishing building my first arcade cabinet  ;D
anyways i found maximus arcade awesome software !!!
i got me 4 players setup using ipac4
i started using MA worked fine no problems and today after i dumped some more roms into mame suddenly
the MA stopped registering any actions from the keyboard or the ipac4  :banghead:
i tried resetting the PC tried everything, i saw this issue talked about before but no answer as to what is the source or solution

Anyone have any ideas???
or another great frontend like MA since i know the developer is no longer working on it?

First things first:

-  Did you try running notepad.exe to see if you joysticks/buttons register anything there?  If they don't contact Andy at Ultimarc; you may have a faulty iPac.  If it does, then move onto testing it in MAME by itself without the frontend.

Check out this page on how to manually reprogram it to the defaults (without the software)

Thanks for the post D,
i moved to hyperspin, the problem was with the MA it self everything works fine in windows and mame
only inside the MA the keyboard didnt react.

MA was a great software, to bad the creator stopped working on it.

Agreed, it's definitely at the end of it's life.  This last project I am working on will be the last time I will be using it.  I only used it because it's a vertical cab and Hyperspin does not support a vertical setup (yet).  If I ever do a vertical setup again, I will probably go with Mala.
