Hello so my Nsm Performer Grand is sooo hardto set the lift in service mode. I go to 157 H 0 and try to set it to the correct heigth useing 3 and 9 and I can never get it correct.
The cd will spin correctly sometimes then others it will stop and spin backwards at like mach 10. any advice?
also I need a decent owners manual with schematics. Anybody kno a good place for cheep or free ones( Besides E-bay)

Anytime a cd player spins backwards, the player needs repair or replacement.

ken is right the laser need's service and or the decorder board
xmission has most if not all of the nsm stuff
cdpro is a gem generation jukebox or cdpro 4.1 187pg's
unless u are very handy and know your way around electronic's
i suggest u take it to a very good repair shop,1 wrong move and your head is trash

so I am just starting out working on the cdm s . I taught myself how to replace the optics and the last one I did worked fine in a Rowe but i put it in the nsm , and I would have issues.I got a mbc 3 pro off ebay put the whole player in the nsm and it wouldent do anything. next I took the cdm out of the new box put it in the old player and it occasional works great. I thought I dident have the centering correct on one or more of the light barriers I'v tried everything my small girly brain could come up with, lol ..so at this point I am questioning if the decoder board is messed up. also I have no idea what you mean by cdpro 4.1 187pg's

the manual is 187pg's <page's>
4.1 is the pro-player laser's and decorder board's model name
the player manual u want is the gem serie's
now watch your-self they went through 4 rev's
if u up-load a picutre i can tell u wich 1 u are working with
ie the decorder and steper board,they are in the head
u really cannot tell by the laser
