Title: Rowe R-86 NEED HELP
Post by: jac85742 on October 19, 2012, 06:10:56 pm
I have a Rowe R-86 jukebox.  Here is my problem.  Unable to make selections anymore because magazine spins, arm pulls down a 45, the needle hits the record for about 5 seconds then arm takes away record and selects another for play.  This goes on and on and only stops when the unit is unplugged.  Plug it back in and the same sequence happens.  over and over.  Has anybody run in to this problem or know how to remedy it?  I'm pretty attached to my jukebox and not being able to use it really sucks!

hi
that sound's like it was put into full test
just to cycle through every record in the rack
if u do not have the manual
go here
>http://tomszone.com/Manuals.html#AMIMan (http://tomszone.com/Manuals.html#AMIMan)<
if u have the manual ?
look into your code set,and make sure youe service switch is set right
ie 1 side is for full play the other is for service
if it is set to service and u entered a code via the remote
it will do exactley what it is doing
also u could ask on
jukebox-list-request@lists.netlojix.com

Hello ed12,

On the R-86 you are talking nonsense it does not have a built in test feature.
The R-86 can not be used with a remote.

If the jukebox picks out every selection this can be canceled by pressing the Clear Selection Memory button.
