:timebomb:
My idea for Kickplate art, I'm really not the arty type. I think it looks pretty cool.
Just used paint.net and used the same image twice one flipped and inverted and the xor blend.
I'm not exactly great with these programs either
Cheers
Chuck.

Hey chuck - It looks very abstract to me. What is the art theme for the Marquee and Control panel?
Or are you only having kick panel artwork.
For me the picture has some interesting components - but i think that is primarily because they are visualy not clear and i'm left wondering what they are :dunno
Here's my opinion - if your not too good with creating art work then stick to a real basic theme.
Some of the real basic artwork is some of the most effective.
Use bold colours and hard edges, straight lines.
i hope that helps some. ;D
cheers

Thanks :) your feedback is great :) I don't really have a theme in mind, I really love DBZ, Mario and Pacman and was hoping to put those three on there at least once :) I'll try and think more simple.
Thanks again :)

Hey again Guys, another idea. This time its the CP art.
What do you guys think?

Looks interesting.
The good news is that I can actually tell what this one is. :lol
What kind of joystick/button layout do you have in mind? Easier to tell what works if you can see where the controls are.
If your graphic editor of choice can do layers, consider adding a layer for joysticks/buttons. When you're ready to "flatten" for printing, hide/remove the layer.
