Title: ATI , DOS, and the ArcadeOS triple play

tried using an ATI Radeon card and it kept on locking up my system. From what I've read, ATI cards don't like VIA chipsets. I have an EPOX 8kta3+ motherboard and almost all kinds of ATI cards Ive tried have locked up??  Is there a way around this because I would like to use an ATI crd for DOS output onto a TV but with the computer locking up this has become frustrating....thanks
