Title: TV Width Question
Post by: Purple Tophat on October 12, 2012, 01:41:35 am
So I'm looking to find a TV to use as a monitor. Ideally, I'd like to use a 27" TV, but all of them I've found seem to be at minimum a 1/2 inch too wide to fit my cabinet. Before I give up on a 27" and start looking at 25" TV's, does anyone know of a suitable TV that's 24 1/2" or less wide? Like I said, I can find TVs that are 25" wide. I'm hopeful because a 1/2 inch isn't that much! Can anyone please help?

With or without the case?

Well I was hoping to find one to fit WITH the case. I assume that a whole lot of them might fit fine without the case, but opening the case seems dangerous to me. I've heard and read that you can get seriously injured (or possibly killed) by all the voltage. I don't want to take any risks when I know for a fact that I don't know what I'm doing.

I mean, I'm sure I'm "capable" of discharging a capacitor, but that's one of those things that I refuse to attempt unless there's someone who's knowledgeable and experienced to show me how to do it in person. If there's anyone in the Western Chicago burbs (Downers Grove, Woodridge) who would be willing to help me, well, I'd gladly show my gratitude with an acceptable combination of beer and pizza! Hehe...
