Title: My default controls get reset?

I'm having a problem. I'm using Groovy Mame in Hyperspin. Sometimes my default settings are competely reset. I have to set up everything again. UI, joysticks and so on. Any ideas what could cause this?

If you have your controls setup for a joystick and start mame with no joystick connected it can reset the cfg file to default.  Set your controls how you want then go into mame\cfg\ and set the default.cfg to read only.

Ah it's possible it happened because I disconnected one of my lightguns. Thanks!
