Title: Recommend a supplier of T-Molding?
Post by: chucklepie on October 06, 2012, 03:19:27 am
Hello,
I'm after some T-Molding. I found one that I liked (black with chrome stripe down the middle) but after trying to contact T-Molding.com four times (email and web-form) without a response I figured what's their service like? and besides if they can't be bothered to respond to me I won't be bothered to buy from them.

So can anyone recommend a place? I'm from UK but international post isn't an issue as it usually works out half the price of UK suppliers anyway for the T-molding. I tried a few UK ones but they didn't have this particular one in stock.

Thanks.

Only two places I know of are T-Molding.com and GGG.  I've ordered from both without issue.

Same for me....ordered t-molding from both stores with no issues...posted to Australia. I found GGG to be a lot cheaper...actually, I just had a look and GGG are selling your chrome strip for $0.65 (compared to $0.75 at t-molding.com)

Thanks. I take it ggg means groovygamesgear.com? seems the right one, and it's $5 cheaper :)

I only ask because 'ggg t-molding' brings me to gggcorp who sell t-molding but are a wholesaler not a retailer.

Yes.  Just one word of caution, if you do order from them, expect it take at least a week to ship.  They don't have the quickest turn-around.

Don't worry, I won't be finished in a week  :P

I've sent them an email about international shipping so I'll wait to see if I get a reply. Which seems to be my new advanced way of filtering out suppliers ;)

When I saw they supplied other hardware I thought I'd be saving money and buy my buttons/joysticks there but they don't seem to sell brands I want (Sanwa/Seimitsu), they all look American. Ah well.

You can get an instant price for international shipping at GGG...just add some items to the cart and you can see the international shipping cost (you will probably have to register first)

Randy from Groovy Game Gear is here on the forum. He will usually respond to any question thrown at him. Have ordered several times from him always had good service.

When it comes to t-mold, I have always ordered from t-molding.com and I find there services excellent. They have been very responsive so far, and no problem with international orders and shipping (to Sweden). So it surprises me that you didn’t get any response.

I have bought stuff from GGG as well, with the same results as above. So from my point of view any is as good as the other.
