Title: Service Menu on Samsung TV's?
Post by: RVZ on September 29, 2012, 07:25:55 am
I've read that you can change some settings from the service menu on some tv's.  Does all tv's have this?  I have a Samsung CS29Z45 tv, but can't find anything on it.  I need to adjust the image slightly, it's all curved at the top.

You found the service manual?  Is this one of the one's where you have to connect a jumper on the chassis to access the service menu?  Please let me know if it works.

No jumpers.  Switch off the tv from the remote, then press Info, Menu, Mute, Power.  All the settings I was looking for is in the service menu.  :-)

Nice!  I think that must have been a Toshiba I was working on that used a jumper.  My Sony Trinitron has a similar remote code, much more convenient.
