Title: Dustforce - Humble Bundle 6
Post by: Kiatuthlanna on September 26, 2012, 05:21:39 pm
I just picked up the Humble Indie Bundle 6 the other day. I'm really loving one of the included games called Dustforce. It's a cool 2D side scroller with lots of really fun traversal. It works really well with arcade controls. You have to pay above the current average price for the bundle to get it. There are still 6 days remaining on the bundle. I haven't played all the games yet, but Shatter and BIT.TRIP RUNNER are also really fun.

I was really glad Wizorb was added, been wanting to play that one (already had picked up the bundle). Only tried shatter so far but really liked it. These bundles have provided me a shameful backlog of games in my steam library!

Space Pirates and Zombies and Torchlight are both great games which I already had, but I am thrilled to see Gratuitous Space battles added. I've wanted to try that for a while.

I paid over just to get dustforce. Didn't realize the bundle was even out still about 10 hours left!

I picked this up yesterday too.  Just wanted to mention that Shatter looks to be an excellent pong game for cabinets with a trackball and mouse buttons.

I hear you.  I've got like a Steam collection addiction.

Torchlight is pretty fun, glad to say I won't have to buy Diablo 3 ever.  SPAZ seems cool, but I read it was comparable to Star Control, I got my hopes up.

I had Bit.TRIP Runner already, but I just can't play it.  My eyes cross and I start drooling.

I bought SPAZ entirely because of its alleged similarity to Star Control.  I ended up not liking it at all.  The battles might as well have been computer controlled -- to me there was very little skill involved unlike Star Control.  The variable zoom of the battlefield was also missing (99% of the time you have to fire at enemies that aren't even on the screen).

Dust Force looks neat. There's an odd feeling watching that, seeing how games these days can actually match the [box] art.

Is the broom a flying broom?...or is the character just able to jump from wall to wall?

I seem to be the only one in here but I bought Humble Bundle 6 mainly because of jamestown!

I got Jamestown in a previous bundle and still haven't tried it. (Like MOST of the backlog of Bundle games...)

Wow it sure does.  Just tried it -- it's like Zelda + pong!
