Title: Brand new CR23 adapters found
Post by: Ken Layton on September 25, 2012, 02:18:48 pm
I've found a company with a small cache of brand new B & K CR-23 adapters for sale. Get them while you can:

http://www.electronicsurplus.com/Item/135404/BK%20PRECISION%20-%20CRT%20Adapter_%20Test%20leads_%20-%20CR23/ (http://www.electronicsurplus.com/Item/135404/BK%20PRECISION%20-%20CRT%20Adapter_%20Test%20leads_%20-%20CR23/)

You use them on the models 467, 470, 480, and 490-A rejuvenators.

These are for sliding onto the end of the tube neck, to connect to your tube rejuvenator?

$32 seems quite pricey for something you can build yourself with a molex connector (couple of dollars) and a CRT socket pulled from some TV chassis (free). Or am I missing something?

Actually, that's cheap. B&K list price was $50 for any adapter except the CR-XA which was $75 list price.

$2 DIY adapter is way cheaper though unless there are *real* reasons to prefer the official one.

Some of the people with a rejuvenator might not be able to make an adapter themselves or may prefer an original.
