New to arcade cabs here..on a budget. Looking at the X arcade controls and thinking about grabbing the cheaper one http://www.xgaming.com/store/arcade-joysticks-and-game-controllers/product/x-arcade-dual-joystick/ (http://www.xgaming.com/store/arcade-joysticks-and-game-controllers/product/x-arcade-dual-joystick/) and if I really have a desire to have a track ball modifying the wood to accept a trackball later. Is it worth it and do able? Or should I say screw it and get the tankstick version with the trackball already installed??

It's a shame they don't offer the standalone Trackball unit anymore. I really don't think there's enough room to fit a trackball unless you completely reconstruct the front and raise the entire thing.

IF you need and inch and a half more you could build a frame for the bottom of the xarcade that would raise the whole unit that amount or more.

If thats all you would need to do woodworkingwise I can have that covered. What about running the controls and what not via usb will there be any issues integrating it into the software? Sorry very new guy here

Stupid question is everyone using the trackball to choose stuff in the front end menu..or is it intended for golf/bowling games ?
