Project list got too long...both arcade and non-arcade related, so I'm willing to let this go to a good home.
For sale is a MAME cabinet that I picked up about a year ago. I was originally using this for a client's build, but after showing the cab when I brought it home, he decided that the cab would be too big for his area. So, I took the monitor, the P1 & P2 sticks/buttons and whollah...here we are. Just to be clear, there is no computer or monitor, I'm selling just the bare cabinet with CP.
It's a super nice cabinet, a UAII clone, there's no keyboard tray or coin door cutout. As the picture shows, it has a 4-player CP that includes a HAPP 3" trackball (red boards) w/opti-wiz interface, a turbo twist 2 spinner, i-pac4, and a 4-way joystick. Players 3 & 4 are set up correctly (only 4 buttons) and there's a creative labs 4.1 speaker setup that's built into the cabinet. The trackball has a clear blue trackball, but if not to your liking, I have the original white ball to kick in.
The artwork is pretty cool, but the edges are peeling....I don't want to give the impression I put the artwork on it so before anyone asks, I don't have the artwork files. I tried to contact the original builder about 8 months ago, but he refused to send me the files. It's around 6-7 years old and while it's there, most folks will want to put theire own creative stamp on it. It has a monitor bezel and plexi for a 27" curved CRT.(not shown)
I think $150 is a fair price to ask...to get the CP internals used you'll spend around $125, so the cab/speakers are almost a throw-in.
I'm located just north of Cincinnati if anyone is interested. Again, I'm asking $150...pretty firm on the price. If there's no interest it won't kill me to keep it where it's at.(my garage)
I'm going to cross-pollenate my post at the KLOV forums to maximize exposure...maybe flea bay too.

Definitely not a bad looking cab. The selected artwork on the sides is a bit perplexing. (Link + Captain America + DK). CP isn't too bad looking either. Not a fan of the color scheme going on, (the yellow and green for 3 and 4 look good, though) but the rest can be rearranged/replaced.
$150 sounds more than fair for the amount of stuff you're giving out. I wish you luck. I'd use it myself, but I've already got one that doesn't work (need to replace the computer).

if you dont get any bites I'd be interested in the spinner (I wanna make an arkanoid bartop)

This has sold. I had this posted on the KLOV forum and man...they were just ripping this cab apart. I guess the NorthCoast cab guys don't go there very much... :dunno

Seriously, even mentioning the word MAME over there opens the floodgates of hate and fury... that reminds me, I need to put something about MAME in my signature at KLOV... ;D

Malenko-
Are you interested in some Arkanoid parts? I have a spinner, pcb, harness and power supply I pulled from an Arkanoid hack job. PM me and let me know.

I have 2 cabinets in my garage that I'd consider letting go.
1) Centipede upright cabinet: I got this from a motivated seller a while back. The cabinet is in great shape, all the artwork intact...albeit the top left of the cabinet has a crack where it looks like it bumped up against a wall or another cabinet. It was like that when I bought it.
Here's the thing....it has all the parts minus monitor and it plays blind. How do I know it plays blind?? I hooked up a 26" monitor (on the floor) and the picture came on and it played perfect. The reason I haven't let it go till now was the cabintet and all boards have matching serials. 30+ years and it still works! I replaced the Big Blue and did a cap kit on a wg4600 I had in another cabinet and tried to install it in the centipede but it rolled (horiz on a vert install) and I never resolved it. ($200 obo and you get everything but monitor.)
The other cab is a Midway cab....a Bosconian cab to be exact. I bought this from another gamer and it had World Series Baseball installed. It has an extra board and extra control panel for the baseball game. I pulled the monitor from it to use on the centipede. The cab is servicable, but if you want it to be showroom quality, it will need some work. ($75 and you get everything but monitor.)
I have a 26" or 27" monitor that I'll sell too. Kortek...I can't remember the model # at the moment . It was pulled from a working Deer Hunting game. It will need a degaussing (rear right corner) and the yoke rings will need tightened. When I got the game, the monitor was showing a blurry, double image that wouldn't allow the gun to work properly. I sold the game and cabinet...all that is left is the monitor. I adjusted the rings and used this monitor to test the Centipede cabinet. I was able to dial in the picture, but like I said the rings are loose and the glue that held the rings in place has broken apart. ($60 and it's yours)
That dang-blasted wg4600 gave me fiits....to the point where I cooled off on the restoring for a bit. I'm still keeping the wg4600 for myself in hopes of getting it to run with a 60-in-1 I plan to build.
no shipping on anything....cash and carry.
If you need pics, let me know and I'll post some when I get home.

If you don't mind posting some pictures that would be great. I am heading up to Columbus Friday to check out a warehouse full of games. Plus i just bought a converted mercs cabinet but that was mostly for the ipac 4 and wg monitor, i dont think i like the mercs cabinet. The Centipede cabinet would be great if i knew if my new game room had enough for more then 2 cabinets.
