Title: Forum problems?
Post by: Smittydc on October 09, 2003, 09:17:10 am
Yesterday and today I've been having a heck of a time with the forum -- pages not loading, hanging the browser, etc.

I'm not having troubles with any other site.

Is it just me.

(I would post this in the "board" discussion, but couldn't get it to open...)

I had a bit of trouble late yesterday afternoon (eastern time), but everything seems fine so far today.

I had some trouble last night too.  I hit the post button and a minute later got a spontaneous blue screen.  (XP, IE, all but latest two patches that came out this week installed)

I had some trouble logging in. It would log me in, but when I went into a thread it would come up as guest again. I set up a new user and it seemed to work fine. Also had occasional page display problems but nothing that reloading the page didn't fix.

Anyway, everything seems hunky dory again now.

Shouldn't this thread be in the board/wesite discussion forum?

I seem to have problems with the logging in part.
I seems I can't create a new thread unless I click on a reply box which will then allow me to log in then when I do I can then post a new thread or reply to another thread.

it's a bit wierd.
