Title: U360 vs Sanwa
Post by: fantoboy on September 02, 2012, 07:42:00 pm
I'm currently shopping for my cabinet build.  My first instinct is to buy JLFs because I'm a huge fighting game fan.  I do plan on playing older games though.  How do the U360s feel for fighting games, performing moves, etc?  Do the U360 owners here actually find themselves switching to 4 way mode, or is that too annoying?  How is the analog control, I'm guessing that's good for console games like Mario 64 and whatnot? What 4 way games absolutely suck on an 8 way stick?

You should put JLF instead of Sanwa in your subject line.

Yep. Seems good to me.

I would stay away from U360's personally if you will be mashing the hell out of them.  I bought a set and with in a month of playing ROBOTRON I had to pull them from my cabinet.  Don't get me wrong..there a great stick if your a casual gamer or playing casual games but for the hard core games that your constantly moving the stick, stay away from.  This is just my personal observation of the two U360's that I bought new.

BTW.  I have no knowledge of the Sanwa's, So I can't talk about them.
