I seem to remember some discussion a while back about acceptable mounting angles for a WG 9200, but I a search on the board isn't turning it up...
Does anyone know if a 9200 can be mounted at any angle between horizontal and 45 deg. without causing color distortion? According to WG they recommend mounting either horizontally or at a 45 deg angle.... but my cab design needs the monitor mounted at approx 30 deg.
Am I over thinking this?...does the monitor degauss when powered on and run properly unless moved.... regardless of the mounting angle?? Does its shielding protect the display across the entire range of angles 0-45 deg?

You're probably overthinking it. I believe the thread you were thinking of had something to do with someone seeing distorted edges when it was upright, but when put in their cab (at an angle) and degassed it went away.
BTW, the D9200 does have built in degauss. Just press the Select key on your monitor controls.

Any angle should be fine, especially with a new monitor. Older monitors though don't always like to change angle or orientation (they can develop deguass problems after having their angle or orientation switched).
