Surprised me, too. I had it up there for $30 starting bid, added the $50 BIN just because eBay lets you add that option for free. I didn't think anyone would actually use it. :woot

Stuff that wouldn't have brought in $5 3 years ago is bringing in premiums now. $40 for a yellow SNES and 14 crappy games. $50 for 12 Sega CD games, only one is a good game, only three have the case. It's a good time to be putting anything game console related on ebay if you have a reasonable way to ship it all.

I got a top loader off free cycle a couple of years ago with 2 controllers, a zapper, SMB / Duckhunt, SMB2, and SMB3...

If it wasn't my only NES, I'd throw it up there. Wow.

Saw them at game stores, flea markets, etc but never once at a yard sale or anyplace it could be had cheaply. It is one of the few console hardware variants I have never owned.

Post by: Le Chuck on September 15, 2012, 11:28:04 pm: I switched over to a top loader when my first NES bit the bullet near 20 years ago. I think it's still sitting at my parents house, or in storage, or they tossed it. I'm going home for Thanksgiving, I should see what I can dig up.
